Boat rentals are available to guests and the public (non-guests) that want to get out and enjoy beautiful Lake Alice. Our boats do not leave our lake and we do not trailer them to other bodies of water.

Can I rent a boat if I am not staying at the resort?
Yes we rent to the public so all can enjoy Lake Alice
Can I take the boats under the bridge up the Wisconsin River?
The fishing boats and kayaks you can but the pontoons are not allowed under the bridge as they set too tall out of the water and will not fit under the bridge.
Can you deliver or have the boat on a different lake?
No, our boats are not removed from Lake Alice and no other body of water can be accessed from Lake Alice
Is there a boat launch near by?
Yes, directly across the street is a Bar and Grill with a very nice and well maintained boat launched that can be used along with several other public boat launches on Lake Alice.
What all does the cottages have supplied in them?
At Tomahawk Resort, we want your stay to feel as comfortable as home. That's why each of our cottages is thoughtfully equipped with everything you need to relax and enjoy your vacation. Every cottage features a full kitchen with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, and a 12-cup drip coffee maker (please note: not a K-Cup machine). We also provide coffee, basic condiments, cookware, cooking utensils, spices, dishes, glasses, and silverware, so you can prepare meals with ease. Inside, you'll find comfortable furnishings, while outside you'll have everything you need to enjoy the Northwoods. Each cottage includes comfortable outdoor seating, a gas grill with propane provided, and a private fire pit. We also provide complimentary firewood and s'mores fixings, making it easy to gather around the campfire and create lasting memories with family and friends. We provide all bed linens, a variety of bath towels, and complimentary bathroom toiletries for your convenience. For guests bringing a boat, our easy-access docks along the shoreline feature electrical power for convenient battery charging, making it simple to head out on the water each day. Each cottage also includes complimentary Wi-Fi and a Smart TV, allowing you to sign in to your favorite streaming apps and enjoy your favorite shows after a day of fishing, boating, or exploring the area. At Tomahawk Resort, all you need to bring are your clothes, groceries, and sense of adventure, we've taken care of the rest.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, we are a pet friendly resort. For allergy reasons we try to limit animals in our Hillside Retreat cottage. There is an additional $20 per night pet fee.
Where can I buy fishing licenses and bait?
We are located about 5 miles from the city of Tomahawk which has 3 great bait shops to choose from (Chuck's Bait & Tackle, Aquatic Arts & Veigut's Do It Best)
When is check in and check out?
Check in is 3pm and Check out is 11am. We ask if you are unable to arrive at check-in to notify us so we are available to greet you when you arrive.
When can I pick up and return my boat?
Boat pickup is at 8:00 AM, and boats must be returned by 7:00 PM. Please note that Tomahawk Resort does not have a storefront or a continuously staffed office. If you are unable to arrive for the scheduled 8:00 AM pickup, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate a later pickup time; however, because staff may not be available later in the day, late arrivals cannot be guaranteed without prior arrangements.
