Welcome to our little slice of heaven on beautiful Lake Alice. Tomahawk Resort on Lake Alice is a family-owned, year-round, four-season family resort where guests can enjoy a peaceful lakeside getaway and experience the beauty of nature. We invite you to make our resort your home away from home for a short off-season stay, a week-long vacation, or an extended visit.
Located on the north end of Lake Alice in the bay of the Wisconsin River, our resort offers excellent fishing opportunities for muskie, smallmouth and largemouth bass, walleye, northern pike, and panfish. With over 500 feet of waterfront, 6 private acres, and 5 piers, guests have plenty of space to relax, enjoy the outdoors, and create lasting memories.
Guests can bring their own boats or use nearby boat rentals available on a first-come, first-served basis. The resort provides lakeside fire pits, firewood, and s’more supplies for relaxing evenings by the water. Each cottage includes a private gas grill with propane provided, along with home-like amenities such as family-friendly board games, playing cards, and poker chips.
Complimentary quality Wi-Fi is available for all guests, and every cottage features a smart TV so visitors can access their favorite streaming apps and entertainment during their stay.
Cottage 1: Happy Trails
Happy Trails is a beautifully updated 2-bedroom, 1-bath cottage designed for a comfortable and relaxing lakeside getaway. Each bedroom includes a new queen bed, dresser, fresh linens, pillows, and towels. The cottage features a full bathroom with reliable hot water and a fully equipped eat-in kitchen with dishes, utensils, and cookware.
The cozy living room offers comfortable seating, a 50” flat-screen TV, Roku, a DVD player, a selection of movies, and stunning lake views. Guests can enjoy year-round comfort with ceiling fans, air conditioning, and new baseboard heaters for cooler months.
The cottage includes parking for two vehicles, trailer parking, a private outdoor seating area, and access to a shared outdoor fire pit. The rental includes a first bundle of firewood, and guests can purchase additional wood.
Located just 35 feet from the shoreline on level ground, Happy Trails provides easy access to the pier where guests can dock their boats. Piers include electricity, and the nearby public boat launch makes getting on the water simple and convenient.

Cottage 2: Water’s Edge
Water’s Edge is a cozy updated cottage with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. One bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the other bedroom has two new twin beds. Pillows, linens, and ample towels are provided.
A 3/4 bathroom, quality hot water, and a full kitchen. The kitchen includes dishes, utensils, and cookware. The fully furnished living room provides comfortable seating, a 50″ flat-screen smart TV, and quality WiFi.
The cottage has a ceiling fan, air conditioning, and a furnace, so it is ideal for any time of the year. The outdoors provides parking for 2 vehicles and trailers. There is a lovely deck right on the shoreline, an outdoor seating area, and a shared outdoor fire pit.
The first bundle of firewood is included with the rental (additional wood is available for purchase). Easy access to the pier where your boat can be docked. The pier has electricity available. There is also a public boat launch close to the resort for convenient access.

Northwood’s Retreat is a charming rustic 2-bedroom, 1-bath cottage offering a comfortable and relaxing lakeside escape. Each bedroom features a new queen bed, dresser, closet, and fresh pillows, linens, and towels for a convenient stay. The cottage includes a full bathroom with reliable hot water and a fully equipped kitchen stocked with dishes, utensils, and cookware.
The cozy living room provides plenty of seating, a 50” flat-screen TV with Roku, a DVD player, and a selection of movies for guests to enjoy. Ceiling fans, air conditioning, and a furnace keep the cottage comfortable in every season.
Outside, guests will find parking for two vehicles and trailers, a beautiful covered gazebo seating area, and a private outdoor fire pit. Your rental includes the first bundle of firewood, and you can purchase additional firewood if you need it.

Hillside Retreat is our pet-friendly 2-bedroom, 1-bath cottage, offering a comfortable lakeside getaway for the whole family. One bedroom features a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom includes two twin beds. Fresh linens and pillows are provided, along with bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths for your convenience.
The cottage includes a ¾ bathroom with quality hot water and a fully equipped kitchen stocked with dishes, utensils, and cookware. The dining area and living room provide comfortable seating, a 50” flat-screen smart TV, a DVD player, and various movies for relaxing evenings indoors. With ceiling fans, air conditioning, and a furnace, Hillside Retreat is comfortable in every season.
Outside, guests can enjoy parking for two vehicles, trailer parking, a private covered gazebo seating area, and a private outdoor fire pit. Your first bundle of firewood is included with your rental, with additional firewood available for purchase.
Located just 50 feet from the shoreline, Hillside Retreat offers effortless access to a private pier with seating where guests can relax or dock their boat. A nearby public boat launch also provides convenient access to the water.
Pet Policy: Hillside Retreat welcomes pets for an additional $20 per night pet fee. Please select the pet option when booking. A pet waiver must be signed at check-in for insurance purposes.

Guest Reminders
When packing, please remember we provide all the bed linens, blankets, throws, and pillows. Every cabin is stocked with 6 bath towels, 6 hand towels, 6 washcloths, and 6 kitchen washcloths. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, toilet paper, garbage liners, paper towels, and dish soap are also provided. The kitchens are fully stocked with plenty of utensils, plates, bowls, cups, glasses, and cookware. If something is forgotten, please ask. We might just have it!
There are high chairs and pack-n-plays available at the guest's request.
We offer one pet-friendly cottage. If you are traveling with your pet, please be sure to book the Hillside Retreat cottage and advise us of your pet’s arrival ahead of time. We know how important your furry friends are and do not want any complications on your vacation stay.
